The Festival

Catskills REVIBE is the first ever mural, arts and culture festival debuting June 2023. With goals of revitalization, supporting local arts and culture, allowing local students and aspiring artists to apprentice and shadow the professionals in all mediums, and aiding in developing creative spaces for our youth to express themselves.

The Organizers

Catskills REVIBE is brought to you by Josh Deitchman, in partnership with the Sullivan Catskills Visitors Association along with sponsorships from local businesses and nonprofits.

A Mindful Approach to Beautification

Public art on commercial buildings has never been more popular than today, and landlords and developers have noticed. In most cases, street art installations create a win-win for cities, residents, and landlords by engaging communities, dressing up what would otherwise be empty spaces and blank walls, and helping properties advertise themselves.

Some property owners shell out for commissioned artwork even if it doesn’t lead to direct monetary gain. That’s because buildings sometimes become known for their murals, drawing foot traffic and potential customers.

The murals serve as a form of branding, and buildings can quite literally be placed on the map in terms of community mural tours and art walks.
